Dear Colleagues and Professionals in the Transplant area

I would like to welcome you to the website of XX Latin American and Caribbean Transplant Congress, which will be held in our country in the city of Viña del Mar, between 22 and 26 September 2009.

The V Extension Course of the Latin American and the Caribbean Transplant Society will take place on October 7th and 8th of the this year, in Caracas, Venezuela

 

 

 

 

During the XXI Latin American and Caribbean of Transplant Congress in March, the Aguas Calientes Group Commission gathered together to discuss the different points related to the documents and advances achieved.

 

On Saturday 27 September, the second Meeting of the Board of Directors of the year 2008, of the Latin American and Caribbean Transplant Society took place, whose host city was Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

On Wednesday, March 23rd, the Reunion of the Transplant Society for Latin- America and the Caribbean took place in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

In this occasion, the meeting was presided by Dr. Ashley Baquero, we counted with the assistance of Dr. Domingo Casadei and Dr. Roberto Tanus (Argentina), Dr. Mireya Ortiz and Dr. Jose Toro (Chile), Dr. Alejandro Nino Murcia (Colombia), Dr. Maria Amalia Matamoros (Costa Rica), Dr. Josefina Alberu and Dr. Carmen Gracida (Mexico), Dr. Eduardo Santiago Delpin (Puerto Rico), Dr. Sergio Orihuela (Uruguay), Dr. David Arana (Venezuela).

Some of the important issues discussed in this reunion were among others: The presentation of the two new Training Centers for Improvement Scholarships of the Society, The Latin- American Transplant Records and the Coordination for the Assembly that was conducted, marked within the XXI Latin American Transplant Congress.
