RENOVATION AGREEMENTS WITH THE TRANSPLANT SOCIETY

In the framework of the XXI Latin American and Caribbean Transplant Congress that took place in Colombia, the STALYC Directive met with the new elected president of The Transplantation Society, Dr. Francis Delmonico, to renew the agreements with the TTS.

 

     

 

This collective cooperating agreement between our Society and The Transplantation Society was signed in July 2006, Boston U.S.A.

This year the Directive decided to renew this agreement and new benefits were added for our members:

- Obtaining membership to The Transplantation Society with a 50% discount in the yearly subscription for Full member as well as Associates and trainee memberships, and exception from sponsoring letters usually required by the Transplantation Society.

- TTS/STALYC will offer consultants to Latin American countries to increase cadaverous donors

- Latin American Council elections to the TTS every 4 years. The TTS is in agreement in accepting the candidates proposed by the STALYC for the Council election.

Benefits of the Membership to the TTS:

1. The opportunity to be a part of an organization accredited by CME and the principal medical network of doctors, surgeons and basic scientists involves in the Transplant activity.

2. 50% discount on the TTS membership value.

3. Free Access for educative material in the societies website

4. Free Online Access to the Transplantation Journal, officially of The Transplantation Society.

5. Scholarship applications for Congress trips through the "Young Researchers Awards" program.

6. Reduced Inscription Fees for International Congresses.

7. Rights to vote and nominate candidates in the election of Directive Officials and Advisers of The Transplantation Society.

8. Substantial reductions in the subscriptions to the journals appointed to the Society.

9. Subscriptions to "TTS Newsletter", with updates on the activities of the Transplant community.
