During the Latin American Transplant Congress 2009, in Viña del Mar, Chile a group of nurses from different countries got together to form de Transplant Nursing Department.
During the last congress in Colombia, the constitution was ratified before the General Ordinary Membership Assembly and was appointed to the articles of association of the STALYC.
