On the 14th and 15th of November the Ibero-American Council of Donation and Transplantation held their Annual Meeting in Panama City. In attendance were state delegations from various countries in the region, the Spanish National Transplant Organization, the Pan-American Health Organization, the Latin American Society of Procurement, the Punta Cana Group, the Transplantation Society and the Latin American and Caribbean Transplant Society - STALyC.
Current issues and challenges in the field of organ donation and transplants of each Latin American country were discussed and STALyC gave a presentation on its management of the subject over the last year.
